How it works:

What is the Refine Peel?

It targets sun damage, pigmentation, acne scarring, and early signs of ageing through controlled exfoliation and skin renewal.

What does the treatment feel like?

Will my skin actually peel?

Yes. Light to moderate peeling or flaking typically occurs over 3–7 days post-treatment. This is part of the skin’s renewal process and reveals fresher, smoother skin underneath. Peeling intensity varies depending on skin condition and peel depth.

Is there downtime?

Mild downtime is expected. You may notice redness, dryness, and visible peeling. Most clients plan their Refine Peel when they can allow a few days for skin to settle. We provide a detailed aftercare guide to support healing and protect your results.

How many treatments will I need?

Many clients see improvement after just one peel, while others benefit from a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart. Your clinician will recommend a personalised plan based on your skin type, goals, and medical history.

Can all skin types have the Refine Peel?

The Refine Peel can be safely performed on many skin types, though a pre-treatment consultation and preparation phase may be required for deeper complexions to reduce the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation. A patch test may also be recommended. Not suitable on fitzpatrick skin >IV.

Is the Refine Peel safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

No. Chemical peels like TCA and Jessner’s are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to potential skin sensitivity and lack of safety data. We’re happy to offer alternative treatments during this time.
